Our most budget-friendly way to tag the herd. These are Muddy Creek Tags, made in Nebraska for engraving, so the marking holds up season after season. We laser engrave your brand or logo, ranch name, phone number, and each animal's number or name. They're never stickers or vinyl.
MCT tags are engraved on our fastest laser and come off the machine finished, with no cleanup. That saves us time, so they cost less. You get the same weatherproof, permanent engraving at a lower price.
Bulk tags are text only, with no background designs, and every tag must be the same except for the animal's number or name.

Good to know
- Sizes: Large is 4 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" wide (cow/bull size). Small is 4" tall x 2 1/2" wide (calf size).
- 11 tag colors: bright yellow, yellow, orange, red, pink, light pink, purple, blue, turquoise, green, and white. The engraving is a very dark gray/light black marking, and we can't add other colors. Want black tags? Those can only be UV printed, so they're on our full color bulk show tags.
- Brands need a digitized file drawn in design software. Don't have one? See Digitize Your Brand.
- Choose your back: an AllFlex-style back button, a collar ring, or none. The button works with an AllFlex or similar universal tagger. Need one? Get our Universal Total Tagger. How to order
- Choose your tag size and color.
- Set the quantity for that size and color.
- Choose text only, or your brand or logo with text.
- In the text box, type your layout and list every animal's number or name.
- Using your brand? Upload the file.
- Pick your font from the font chart (photos), or let us choose for you.
- Want text on the back? It's $2 more per tag.
- Add to cart, then repeat for each additional size or color.
How it works
After you order, we email you a mock-up to look over. Approve it or ask for changes right from that email. If we don't hear back in 3 days, we'll send a reminder, and if it's still quiet after 7 days, we go ahead and make it just like the mock-up shows. Once it's approved, your order goes into our production queue to be made.
Sold individually, so order the exact colors you want
Each tag is priced and sold on its own, and every color and size is tracked separately in our inventory. Please add each color to your cart as its own item, in the quantity you need. Need 25 large yellow and 10 small orange? Add each one separately. A note asking us to switch a color can't change what's pulled from inventory, and it can hold up your order while we sort it out.
Timing and shipping
Laser engraved orders ship in 2 to 3 weeks, depending on how quickly you approve your mock-up and the size of your order. We ship by USPS Ground Advantage with insurance, and most orders arrive 3 to 7 business days after they ship. You'll get tracking by email, and you can check your order anytime with our Order Lookup. Need it sooner? Message us before you order and we'll let you know what's possible. We ship within the United States only.
If something goes wrong in transit
Once your package is with USPS, delivery is in their hands, but you won't be left to sort it out alone. Most orders ship with insurance, so if a package is lost or arrives damaged, send us photos and we'll file the claim. We'll do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
