Ritchey small livestock tags, sized for goats, sheep, and pigs. We laser engrave your animal's name or number into the tag, along with your brand or one of our background designs. Good to know
- Size: 2 3/4" tall x 2" wide.
- 14 tag colors. Ritchey tags are made in two layers, and the laser cuts through the top layer to show the color underneath. So each tag color has one set engraving color: white tags engrave black, black tags engrave white, and so on. Each option shows the pair (like Yellow/Black), and we can't add other colors.
- Keep brands and logos simple. These tags are small, and brands need a digitized file drawn in design software. Don't have one? See Digitize Your Brand.
- Your choice of back: an AllFlex, Y-Tex, or Ritchey back button, a collar ring, or none.

How to order
- Choose your tag color.
- Set the quantity for that color.
- Choose what goes on your tags:
- Text only: type your text and how you'd like it laid out.
- Your brand or logo with a name or number: type your text and upload your brand file.
- Numbers or names with a background design: pick one of our designs from the photos and tell us the animal's name, or choose Custom Design (+$5) and upload your own artwork. It needs to be clipart-style art, not a photo. The $5 is once per design, not per tag, and your own brand or logo is always free.
- Pick your font, or let us choose for you.
- Want text on the back? It's $2 more per tag, with up to 3 lines of 15 characters each.
- Choose your back: AllFlex (recommended), Y-Tex, or Ritchey back button (your tagger needs a Ritchey tool pin), a collar ring, or none.
- Add to cart, then repeat for each additional color.

How it works
After you order, we email you a mock-up to look over. Approve it or ask for changes right from that email. If we don't hear back in 3 days, we'll send a reminder, and if it's still quiet after 7 days, we go ahead and make it just like the mock-up shows. Once it's approved, your order goes into our production queue to be made.
Sold individually, so order the exact colors you want
Each tag is priced and sold on its own, and every color and size is tracked separately in our inventory. Please add each color to your cart as its own item, in the quantity you need. Want 4 purple tags and 1 pink? Add 4 purple, then add 1 pink. A note asking us to switch a color can't change what's pulled from inventory, and it can hold up your order while we sort it out.
Timing and shipping
Laser engraved orders ship in 2 to 3 weeks, depending on how quickly you approve your mock-up and the size of your order. We ship by USPS Ground Advantage with insurance, and most orders arrive 3 to 7 business days after they ship. You'll get tracking by email, and you can check your order anytime with our Order Lookup. Need it sooner? Message us before you order and we'll let you know what's possible. We ship within the United States only.
If something goes wrong in transit
Once your package is with USPS, delivery is in their hands, but you won't be left to sort it out alone. Most orders ship with insurance, so if a package is lost or arrives damaged, send us photos and we'll file the claim. We'll do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
The fine print
Because every piece is made for you, we can't accept returns or cancellations once your mock-up is sent. If you lose an animal before your order ships, let us know. We'll change the name or hold your order until you're ready. See our refund policy for details.
