MCT tags are engraved on our fastest laser and come off the machine finished, with no cleanup. That saves us time, so they cost less. You get the same weatherproof, permanent engraving at a lower price.

Good to know
- Sizes: Large is 4 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" wide, for cows and bulls. Small is 4" tall x 2 1/2" wide, for calves. Both sizes are the same price.
- 11 tag colors. The engraving is a very dark gray/light black marking on every color, and we can't add other colors.
- Any design works on any tag color. The colors on our Choose a Design chart are just examples, so pick the design you like and the tag color you want.
- Designs or inverted, not both. This listing is for our background designs. Inverted colors are only on the ranch tag listing.
- Brands need a digitized file drawn in design software. Don't have one? See Digitize Your Brand.
- Choose your back: an AllFlex-style back button, a collar ring, or none. The button works with AllFlex taggers and similar universal taggers. Need one? We carry the Universal Total Tagger. Pick a collar ring to hang the tag from a collar, halter, or chain, or none if you already have buttons.

How to order
- Choose your size and tag color.
- Set the quantity for that color.
- Pick a background design from the photos.
- Type your animal's name or number, plus anything else you'd like on the tag, like your brand or ranch name.
- Using your brand? Upload the file.
- Pick your font, or let us choose for you.
- Want text on the back? It's $2 more per tag, with up to 3 lines of 15 characters each.
- Add to cart, then repeat for each additional color or size.

How it works
After you order, we email you a mock-up to look over. Approve it or ask for changes right from that email. If we don't hear back in 3 days, we'll send a reminder, and if it's still quiet after 7 days, we go ahead and make it just like the mock-up shows. Once it's approved, your order goes into our production queue to be made.
Sold individually, so order the exact colors you want
Each tag is priced and sold on its own, and every color and size is tracked separately in our inventory. Please add each color to your cart as its own item, in the quantity you need. Want 20 yellow tags and 5 orange? Add 20 yellow, then add 5 orange. A note asking us to switch a color can't change what's pulled from inventory, and it can hold up your order while we sort it out.
Timing and shipping
Laser engraved orders ship in 2 to 3 weeks, depending on how quickly you approve your mock-up and the size of your order. We ship by USPS Ground Advantage with insurance, and most orders arrive 3 to 7 business days after they ship. You'll get tracking by email, and you can check your order anytime with our Order Lookup. Need it sooner? Message us before you order and we'll let you know what's possible. We ship within the United States only.
If something goes wrong in transit
Once your package is with USPS, delivery is in their hands, but you won't be left to sort it out alone. Most orders ship with insurance, so if a package is lost or arrives damaged, send us photos and we'll file the claim. We'll do everything we can to get your order to you as quickly as possible.
The fine print
Because every piece is made for you, we can't accept returns or cancellations once your mock-up is sent. If you lose an animal before your order ships, let us know. We'll change the name or hold your order until you're ready. See our refund policy for details.
